LAODICEA RULE

An Excerpt from the book FALSE DOCTRINES
TODAY'S LEADERSHIP AND LAITY RULE
For many years the Church has been taught by leadership who have not been anointed or appointed by God. They have compromised God's Truth to satisfy the itching ears of the people and cement their position.
2 Tim 4:3-4
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears; they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 And they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
Thus the enemy has built a foundation of deception on which the religious church now stands. This deception becomes the chasm of unrighteousness, which separates man from God.
The structure of today's religious and traditional leadership, in reality, has no true scriptural basis at all. The idea of a church government with the laity calling the shots is absolutely absurd. If you look at the way a body operates, it is the Head (governing authority) that gives direction to the body (members) and not the other way around. In this instance the word of God specifically says that we are the Body of Christ and members in particular. Without the direction of the Head (governing authority) the body (members) cannot function, thereby having a powerless body. Nowhere do we find in God's word that the instruction comes from the body or laity (members). In fact Colossians 2:18,19 tells us that nourishment for the body members comes from the Head.
Col 2:18-19
18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body,nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
We all for the most part understand that Christ's Body is made up of people, but to see the Government of God we must see also that He manifests as the Head of the church through people as well. In the thirteenth chapter of Romans we are instructed by the Apostle Paul to submit to the Government of God. This portion of scripture has been incorrectly and intellectually misinterpreted. Instead of being taught that the people of God are to submit to His Government, rather they are being taught to submit to the Government of Satan (systems of man, or what the scriptures call the Beast). This is because they are ministers teaching the Word of God from their own intellect and reasoning ability and not with the mind of Christ. This is the fruit we are seeing from ones chosen by man and not anointed or appointed by God. These chosen by man will come against those who are called of God and the people are in the dark as to what is even going on. Romans 13:1-3 is an often-used scripture to preach being obedient to the world's systems.
Rom 13:1-7
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that existare appointed by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.
4 For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he isGod's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.
5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience' sake.
6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
A study from the Strong's concordance will give you a better translation of these scriptures to show you that they refer strictly to God's Government, His authority, and not man's. For instance, in verse 4 of Romans 13, we read "for he is God's minister to you for good..."the Greek rendering of the word minister comes from the Strong's number 1249 diakonos (dee-ak'-on-os);
1249 diakonos (dee-ak'-on-os);
probably from an obsolete diako (to run on errands; compare 1377); an attendant, i.e. (genitive case) a waiter (at table or in other menial duties); specially, a Christian teacher and pastor (technically, a deacon or deaconess):
KJV-- deacon, minister, servant.
Now we know that all the government officials in this world cannot be ministers of God, nor are they all Christian teachers or pastors! How then could this scripture possibly be referring to man's governments? It isn't! And as far as the taxes are concerned, this does not refer to the taxes that are brought on the people through the systems of man. These are taxes or tributes due to the people of God (the priesthood or government) who diligently minister His word and care for the people. Part of this tax is for the upkeep of the buildings we meet in also.
We see yet another reference to the Government of God in the following scripture:
1 Peter 2:13-17
13 Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme, (through the top of His mountain)
14 or to governors, (Five-fold ministers) as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men
16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.
17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
In this reference to the Government of God, we again turn to the Greek for the rendering of the phrase, every ordinance of man, and find that the actual translation reads: Submit yourselves to every human craftsman. We are to be shaped and molded by God's people, the leadership of the church.
Prov 29:2
2 When the righteous are in authority, (those chosen by God as His government) the people rejoice: but when the wicked man rules, (man's systems governed by Satan) the people groan.
On an in depth study we find that the craftsmen of God (those He shapes and molds us through) are who we refer to as the Fivefold Ministry. (See book Government of God). Ephesians 4 gives us a list of these ministers.
Eph 4:11-13
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
These are an extension of the Hand of God by which the power of God's authority (direction of the Head) flows. The fact that they are human is obvious, being that it is through human vessels that God manifests and dwells.
2 Cor 6:16
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
GOD AS KING THROUGH PEOPLE
God alone is the authority over all things and He will exercise this authority through those He chooses to manifest through to the defeat of all that opposes both Him and His people.
Psalms 95:3
3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
This is why we should honestly want to be covered by those God chooses, knowing it is God through them acting on our behalf, rather than our leadership being chosen by man. Many times these are chosen because they are likable, educated or do things to our liking.
All who are in authority, be it in the Church or in the home, in the natural or in the supernatural, all the authorities of the universe are instituted by God. We must recognize the God delegated authority that operates through those He chooses. People are but earthen vessels, but the authority of God in them must be obeyed. (For more information on the Sovereignty of God and His inherent and delegated authority and power, please again see the Government of God).
The religious church today chooses leadership by forming a panel of members or a Board of Directors who vote and then hire people of their choice, who are in no uncertain terms stealing the right of our Sovereign God to choose whom He wishes.
Deut 17:15
15 You shall surely set a king over you, whom the LORD your God chooses: one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you: you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.
We can see from this scripture God would never tell us to be obedient to the world's systems, and He did not give us permission to choose our own leadership! It is only through the flesh satisfying the intellect of man that these fruitless methods exist. Jesus spoke of the reality of those brought in or hired to lead the people.
John 10:12-13
12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.
13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.
A hireling placed in a position by man does not have the anointing (approval) of God to accomplish God's will for his people because God did not choose him or her. Only God, manifesting through His servants the prophets and apostles, can anoint and appoint whomever to lead His people. It should be noted however, that God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34 & Galatians 3:28). He looks for yielded vessels and many times chooses the most unlikely people by our standards. Nationality or gender does not count with God. If you are born again you are His and He will use you as He sees fit.
Acts 10:34
34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.
Gal 3:28
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
This last scripture brings us to a sore spot for most of the church. There are many instances where God has chosen women to sit in an office to extend His hand of authority. It is Christ in us, we are but vessels, and God does not seem to have a problem with using females to govern through.
Here is a list just to name a few:
Miriam (Exodus 15:20)Deborah (Judges 4:4,5)
Huldah (II Chronicles 34:22)Anna (Luke 2:36)
Hannah (I Samuel 2:1-10)
It is God who established the offices and He chooses those He wants to fill them.
1 Cor 12:27-28
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
And again in Ephesians 4:
Eph 4:11-13
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
If you look at much of today's religious systems, and compare them to today's political systems, for the most part you will see virtually no difference. Both are run by man through Satan to the benefit of Satan's kingdom. The fact is there is no one equipped to handle life's affairs except those God selects to operate through on behalf of man and His Kingdom. The word of God says "for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23. With no one being perfect in themselves, they work in vain to forward man's ideas and ways, which are promoted by Satan and doomed to fail. There are many large, what man would call successful ministries today, but man has evil intentions and no matter how many people he sways to join with him in his wrong decisions, he will still be wrong and those that side with him are just as wrong. Most of the time ones that fall into that trap are the intellectual that think they know more than everyone else.
1 Cor 3:18-20
18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their own craftiness";
20 and again, "The Lord knows the thoughtsof thewise, that they are futile."
Systems and individuals that operate in the carnal intellect developed through man's reasoning power are subject to the curse spoken of by the prophet Jeremiah.
Jer 17:5
5 Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD.
It is Christ in us, the hope of glory, not our intellect or ability. Satan told Eve she could be like God and much of the church buys the same lie! With man's ways so condemned, what better way is there to straighten out our lives than to do it God's way. God is a spirit and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). The truth we are sharing here is concerning today's end-time leadership: It is not Laity rule! God is a spirit that manifests through man. He chooses whomever He desires to manifest through. He rules! There is nothing we can say or do to change that. We as a body must learn to humble ourselves and submit to the manifestation of Jesus in our leadership, trusting the Jesus in them and allowing God through them to raise us up. This is why it is so important for it to be God who calls them!
We also must understand the functions of the body. We are not all going to feel the same way about certain things. When a situation arises the different parts respond as they are to respond. Let us take a situation where our natural body is wounded. The heart speeds up, the brain says: "slow down, don't panic, lean on word of knowledge." Now the heart is already pumping blood to the injury, starting a healing process. So it is not wrong for speeding up but we do want word of knowledge from God as to what to do. Maybe we are trying to determine whether to go to the hospital or not, etc. So the brain is not wrong for slowing down. Another rather silly example of the way the body of Christ may operate would be for the hands to look down on the feet because ‘They do not raise themselves to praise God!' Our hands do not expect our feet to do this. Yet the Accuser of the brethren, Satan, makes us think: "Look at those feet, they don't even appreciate the Lord." Yet maybe the feet are dancing to praise the Lord. Each part does things differently. Each has its own function and personality.
So to establish God's kingdom, carry out God's vision or plan, or receive direction from God, all parts must be allowed to work.
THE BODY MUST ALLOW THE HEAR TO LEAD
When we think of the body of Christ we must picture Him as having a head! This head is made up of those He chooses to direct His body through. The body does not direct the head. It will not be the haughty or proud ones He chooses to work through, but the ones with a contrite spirit. Ones that really understand that it is Christ in them, and not their own ability, or they will get in God's way. The body also must be humble enough to receive God's leadership.
Isa 66:2
2 For all those things My hand has made, and all those things exist," says the LORD. "But on this one will I look: on him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word.
With this truth in mind, let us humble ourselves and submit to God by obeying His leadership. Then there will be the power of God within the body to put an end to the wickedness of the world so we can walk into eternity!
Remember that there is a voice that whispers in our ears that questions the authenticity of God in our leaders. This voice is nothing more than the spirit of division, the spirit that is against Christ in us or Antichrist. It can be defeated with the sword of God's word that says: "You will know them by their fruits."
What is the fruit of your leadership's lives? Are they there for you when you need them? Do they live at home like they appear to be in the church? An evil tree cannot produce good fruit! Good leadership counsels from God, not their own intellect for instance. Learn to tell the difference.
He will turn the wise men of the world back and make their decisions, based on their human intellect, foolish. Why take advice from people that operate through this carnal reasoning? The Lord will confirm the counsel of His messengers if He has chosen them!
Isa 44:25-26
25 Who frustrates the signs of the babblers, and drives diviners mad; who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolishness;
26 Who confirms the word of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers; who says to Jerusalem, 'You shall be inhabited,' to the cities of Judah, 'You shall be built,' and I will raise up her waste places;
Matt 7:15-16
15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
A tree of righteousness that is the planting of the Lord (Isaiah 61:3) will bear holy fruit in their own lives. Be good fruit inspectors and do not let fear overtake you.
Therefore submit yourselves to God's governing authorities.
